Byron’s parents insisted on organizing a celebration for Byron in their home, in the forest. Byron is the first in the whole community to graduate from university.
The celebration was held in the framework of a typical Kichwa feast. About 100 guests, many speeches, lots of food, lots of dancing to loud traditional music and unfortunately, as always, with lots of alcohol. The music stopped only in the night at 9:00 a.m. the following morning.
Time to travel back home. Overtired.
