We continually receive inquiries from various organizations as to whether we could help out financially. PAKASHKA-SACHA generally does not give any money. We help out where projects have arisen from own initiatives. Where people themselves do the labor but the costs for materials cannot be covered by there own. This was the case in Puka Urku. The toilet facilities and lighting in the primary school were in a dilapidated state.
We have are supporting the school with support lessons from our volunteers for almost a year now. They made us aware of this problem.
The President of the Comunidad has presented the cost breakdown and work schedule that we requested. Each project must be entered into PAKASHKA-SACHA. This includes all information about the project, planning, budget, execution protocols and of course a final invoice.
Under the leadership of Byron, the manager of the PAKASHKA-SACHA student house, the necessary materials were purchased together in Tena and the work was carried out under our supervision.

The schools in Puka Urku now have acceptable toilet facilities again and, above all, sufficient lighting in the school rooms.
