PAKASHKA-SACHA offered to the project ALLEY CAT for one of their competitions a prize for the winners. A weekend in the student house PAKAHSKA-SACHA including board and lodging and tours. This weekend became unforgettable for the winners but also for the students in PAKASHKA-SACHA. A valuable cultural exchange for both sides.
Here the weekend report:
Together with the Italian colleagues, winners of the competition, we made a tour through the beautiful primary forest to the Chuya Yacu River. Surrounded by the lush flora and the tranquility offered by the jungle, we enjoyed a refreshing swim and a delicious lunch.
On the way back, we pass the magnificent viewpoint of Dumbiki and observe the majestic Pacha Mama (Mother Earth). A moment that invites us to reflect on the immense value of our Amazon rainforest.
As night fell, we sat around the campfire drinking guayusa tea and sharing anecdotes and stories.
The very next day, our visitors took their leave, obviously very grateful for the hospitality offered. As PAKASHKA-SACHA we are happy about this wonderful experience and this motivates us to continue working and supporting activities that promote nature and environmental protection, like ALLEY CAT.
