Volunteering demands a lot from each individual volunteer. In the PAKASHKA-SACHA student house, every day begins with breakfast together at 7:00 a.m. This for students and volunteers. Each volunteer has his own tasks throughout the week. The range is wide.
– helping with support lessons in the primary school outside in communities the forest
– supporting English lessons in local schools
– domestic work in the student house
– environmental work in the surrounding rainforest of PAKASHKA-SACHA, controlling the terrain, building and maintaining hiking paths, etc.

The PAKASHKA-SACHA project could not accomplish this immense work without all the volunteers’ help.
As a thank you, the management of PAKASHKA-SACHA regularly organizes small events. Time to approach moments together in a more relaxed manner. This time it was a river adventure. We went down the Rio Misahualli with old car tires. Well deserved great fun.
