    Dedicated to that hard work

The property on which the PAKASHKA SACHA student house stands covers about 57000 m2. This means almost exactly 1 km of boundary line. This has to be cleaned and controlled regularly. About 300 m of the property are fenced in and the remaining part is either almost inaccessible because of the terrain or positioned in such a way that no fencing is necessary.

The boundary cleaning is done by a so called „Minga“. „Minga“ means: cooperative work, voluntary communal labour. And in this case, it was the students of the PAKASHKA SACHA student house.

Equipped with machetes and chainsaws, they were hard at work early in the morning. One kilometer of boundary line doesn’t seem like much. But on our hilly and completely overgrown terrain, it is a challenge. A whole 2 days, with a team of 3 people, were needed to complete the work. Many thanks for the effort.
