Since mid-May we have been supporting English classes with our volunteers at the Pedro Fermín Cevallos School in the Puka Urku Community.

This Thursday, PAKASHKA-SACHA and its volunteers were invited to share an emotional closing ceremony for the 2022-2023 school year, together with teachers, students and parents. The objective of this small party was to recognize and enjoy together with the students the great academic work they have been doing in the classrooms.

The children made some playful presentations. The parents mentioned that they feel very grateful for the support provided by our volunteers of PAKASHKA-SACHA. In gratitude to the volunteers, the students gave typical handicrafts made by themselves. The activities carried out by the volunteers help to improve the skills of the teachers, proposing new teaching methods, establishing stronger bonds with the children, and reinforcing the classroom activities to obtain better results every day, with the most important human resource we have, our children. As PAKASHKA-SACHA we believe that education is essential for children and youth to break down the barriers of poverty, inequality and destruction of the forest.
