As my pulmonologist predicted, staying in the Amazon rainforest was not a good idea because of my autoimmune disease. And that was allready confirmed to me within a week.
All symptoms, such as fatigue, difficulty breathing and stinging lungs, were back. Unfortunately, even the regular trips out of the jungle only brought short-term improvements.
Together with Byron’s family we were able to order the shaman into the house again.
The ceremony after dinner, was again in our Chosa, the indigenous house in PAKASHKA-SACHA.
In advance we had to organize the items requested by the shaman: a pack of fresh candles, a spittoon, a clear drinking glass, a pack of cigarettes, a bottle of perfume and a bottle of sugar cane schnapps.

Just like last time, it was again a unique experience. My colleague Simon was also able to receive treatment and the entire PAKASHKA-SACHA community was included in the process.

The ceremony began at 7:00 p.m. and lasted until well past midnight.
And the effect? Afterwards I had to stay in my room for another day. And afterwards I felt good and continued to do so until the end of my stay in the jungle.
